Since then, our chapter's members have participated in 5 chapter-wide projects, doing everything from crafting delicious sleighs for Plano East teachers to hand-drawing motivational posters for the NHS Color Run. In total, more than 600 members have helped the community recognize "Plano East NHS" as a force of change dedicated to leaving our world better than we found it.

The Day of Service was held to open up an opportunity for members to receive hours for the best cause. Members were tasked with making tassel keychains, tie-dye shirts, and cards for packages to give to the kids at St. Jude's Hospital.
The 2nd annual NHS Color Run was a tremendous success, bringing together over 400 NHS members from across Plano for a wonderful cause— supporting the Plano ISD Adult Transition Center with a donation of nearly $7,000.
